“Chiruran Nibunnoichi” Comedy Spin-Off TV Anime Teaser Posted


The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Eiji Hashimoto’s comedy spin-off manga Chiruran Nibunnoichi has posted a 30-second teaser for the anime and the main jidaigeki manga series Chiruran Shinsengumi Requiem‘s latest 17th tankobon volume released on December 20.

 

As wit the main series created by Hashimoto (art) and Shinya Umemura (story), the official spin-off series Nibunnoichi (means a half) is featuring the members of Shinsengumi, a special police force organized by the Tokugawa Bakufu in the end of Japan’s Bakumatsu period, in the 1860s, but telling their daily life in deformed style.

 

The Landq Studio (Robot Girl Z)-produced series is set to premiere on Tokyo MX and KBS Kyoto on January 9, 2017.
