Odd Entertainment has opened the official website for the upcoming stage play adaptation of Kia Asamiya’s sci-fi action manga series Silent Möbius and confirmed it will be performed at Theatre Sunmall in Tokyo nine times from March 29 to April 2, 2017. Advance tickets will go on sale on January 15. In cooperation with ASSH, the company also works on a new stage play adaptation of Kei Kusunoki’s occult action manga Onikirimaru to be performed in January 2017.
The Silent Möbius stage play is written/directed by Hiroshi Hosokawa (Bantam Class Stage), and Ichidai Matsuda (Re-Kan! stage play9 serves as the general director. Keren Iwata (ex-AKB48 member), Rin Asuka (Kamen Ridwe W), Saki Suzuki (ex-Kyouikuteki Shidou!! Sensation’s member) are listed in the cast, but their characters in the play have not been announced.
The play’s official website announces that the original manga author Asamiya newly designs the character
costumes, but Asamiya said “That’s exaggerating.” on his official Twitter yesterday, explaining that he just
modified the designs of the old costumes a little in order to make the actors more comfortable to perform.
