The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation and rapper SALU have teamed up to promote the Toei Oedo Subway Line. The Toei Oedo Line is the longest and deepest subway line in Japan, and has so many turns and inclines that it’s been compared to riding a roller coaster.
The song from SALU, “Tokyo Roller Coaster” is set to video of the Toei Oedo Line, and shows a lot of areas that commuters might overlook and some ares that are normally off-limits to the public. It’s an interesting look at a vital part of Tokyo’s transportation network in a light that makes the subway seem romantic and desirable.
