Kogoro Agechi and Fiend with 20 Faces Square off in “TRICKSTER” Stage Play

TRICKSTER, a TV anime inspired by the “Boy Detectives Club” series of novels and short stories by Edogawa Rampo, has itself inspired an original stage-play adaptation that will run from April  12 – 16, 2017 at the Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi venue in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan.



The stage-play will be an original story that incorporates elements of song, dance, action choreography, and projection mapping to immerse the audience in the world of TRICKSTER. The play is written and directed by Ichidai Matsuda and features choreography by Shojiro Ishioka.


Although the actors who will be play Kogoro Adechi and the Fiend with 20 Faces have not yet been announced, the play will include the following cast members:


  • Yūki Torigoe as Yoshio Kobayashi.
  • Tomoru Akazawa as Kensuke Hanazaki.
  • And Ryotaro Akazawa as Ryō Inoue.
