It’s been a busy year for voice actress Rina Satou. 2016 saw her playing roles in Haruchika, Girls Beyond the Wasteland, Gate, Hundred, Kuromukuro, Kiznaiver, and Planetarian, as well as appearing in multiple video games and putting out a CD single. And in the midst of all this, she apparently also got married and had a child.
The star of Negima! and A Certain Magical Index rang out 2016 with a blog entry talking about the year behind her. And amongst the expected mentions of live appearances and challenging roles was talk of a “new life partner” as well as a new baby.
Now, according to Satou, every day is a “series of new discoveries.” She also adds at the end that she’s fascinated by the sounds babies make, and will occasionally try to parrot them back to her new son.
We wish Ms. Satou and her new family all the best in the coming years.
