Fans of Dragon Ball need to get their walking shoes on, because four malls — Gransta, Gransta Marunochi, Granroof, and Granroof Front — are preparing for a month and a half long event featuring food, sightseeing, and a stamp rally.
The Manga-meshi (lit. “manga food”) event starts this week at the four locations listed and runs until February 27, offering a full menu of Dragon Ball-inspired goodies. Fans can try Spirit Bomb Ramen (in an enormous bowl with hard-boiled egg and Chinese cabbage), Dragon Ball Hong Kong seafood shumai, and stewed hamburger steak with mashed potatoes.
Of course, there will be snacks shaped like the eponymous items — including Dragon Ball Tarts and Dragon Ball Monaka.
The stamp rally itself will take place across 63 stops on the Yamanote Line and two stops on the Tokyo Monorail. There will be photo-ops at these areas, as well as limited-edition goods available for purchase only during the rally.
