This year’s Sapporo Snow Festival expects to boast approximately 250 snow and ice sculptures, as well as sculpture contests. Attendees can view a variety of beautiful sculptures made by Sapporo locals, and even raft and slide in a snow and ice playground. And this year, there’s something for the idol fans: an “appearance” by all nine members of Aqours.
It’s been announced that Love Live! School Idol Project will have an official presence at the 68th Sapporo snow festival, manifesting primarily in nine snow and ice sculptures of the girls of Aqours. It hasn’t been announced yet whether they will be “regular” or SD style.
There will also be a goods booth where fans can buy Love Live! merchandise. Listings, prices, and photos will be available at a later date.
The Love Live! booth will be at the Tsudome from February 1-12. More information can be found at the Snow Festival’s official site.
