And, this week, Konosuba TV anime watchers got to meet Yunyun, the popular chūnibyō arch-wizard Megumin’s friend/rival.
Fans have dug deeper into the Megumin/Yunyun dynamic by decoding what was written in Megumin’s competition notebook when she updated it in season 2 episode 2, “A Friend For This Crimson Demon Girl!” It turns out to be peppered with references to the three-volume spin-off Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! (Gifting this wonderful world with explosions!).
