“Natsume Yujin-cho” TV Anime 6th Season Set for Spring 2017


The official website for the TV anime project based on Yuki Midorikawa’s fantasy comedy manga series Natsume Yujin-cho/Natsume’s Book of Friends today confirmed that its next sixth season, titled Natsume Yujin-Cho Roku, will premiere in the spring of 2017. The new season was previously announced on December 21, 2016, in the end of the final 11th episode of the fifth season.

 

  

The first four seasons were animated by Brain’s Base from 2008 to 2012. Then the company’s third

production division was separated as an independent company named Shuka, and worked on anime

production of the fifth season that was aired for 11 episodes from October to December 2016. No

details of the staff members of the upcoming season is yet announced.

 

The fifth season Natsume Yujin-cho Go is now available to Crunchyroll members in the following

territories: North America, South America, Central America, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway,

Sweden, Turkey.

Meanwhile, a newly-recorded drama CD featuring the anime voice cast is bundled with the latest March 2017 

issue of Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine released today.
