“Go! Princess PreCure” New Novel Hits Japanese Stores March 15

It is confirmed today that “Go! Princess PreCure: Hana to Refi no Bouken (Flower and Refi’s Adventure),” a new novel book inspired by the 12th PreCure TV anime series Go! Princess PreCure will be released from Kodansha’s juvenile novel imprint KK Bunko on March 15.

The 240-page novel is a direct sequel to the 20-minute full CG short “PreCure and Refi’s Wonder Night!” that was released as one program in the three-part Go! Princess PreCure the Movie: Go! Go!! Splendid Triple Feature!!! in October 2015. The film achieved a modest success of 560 million yen in its domestic run. The novel is written by Sakurako Akino (aka Kaori Yamagata as an actress) who provided the screenplays for the three films, and this is her first PreCure novel.

The story is set after the film, telling an adventure of an elementary school girl, Hana, her “grandmother,” and the girls of the Princess PreCure team. The target age of the book is around 8 and older.
