“God Wars: Future Past” Pushes Its Tactics Back to June 22 in Japan [UPDATED]

Update: NIS America made an announcement of its own shortly after this post went live. God Wars will launch in Europe on June 16, followed by North America on June 20.

More from the NISA release:

This delay provides time for additional development and in-game balancing to ensure the best possible experience for gamers.

Originally, the game was slated for March 28, 2017 (NA) and March 31, 2017 (EU). We understand that delays are not the most pleasant of announcements, but we want to ensure our fans experience the highest quality version of the game.

Original Story:

God Wars: Future Past is a tactical RPG that’s currently in the works for PS4 and PS Vita, and it looks like it needs a little more time in the oven before it’s ready for release. Kadokawa Games announced a delay in Japan, pushing the strategy title from April 13 to June 22.

Kadokawa took feedback from February’s demo and the game’s team is now working on bug fixes and other improvements. NIS America previously announced plans to bring God Wars to North America and Europe near the end of this month, but since this delay has to do with the game itself we should be getting new dates for that, as well.
