“Fantasy Life Online” Delayed To April 2017

Level-5’s impossibly adorable Nintendo 3DS title Fantasy Life is going to live on, but not on the platform most fans probably wanted to see it on. Unfortunately, it’s also been delayed. Fantasy Life Online, the smartphone entry in the series, has been delayed in Japan.

The game’s launch will now take place in April 2017 instead of this year — quite obviously, since the year is almost over. Level-5 states a need for the improved quality of the game before it’s unleashed on the masses.

Previously known as Fantasy Life 2, this mobile title will act as a sequel of sorts to the role-playing game that previously debuted on Nintendo’s handheld. Hopefully it’s coming westward as well.
